Ham & mushroom pate

Ingredients

1tablespoonButter
cupChopped fresh mushrooms
¾cupHam crumbs
3ouncesCream Cheese
¼teaspoonDried thyme OR
1teaspoonFresh thyme
½teaspoonDry mustard
1dashTabasco
Crackers

Directions

1. Using a processor, chop mushrooms until fine, but not too fine.

Saute mushrooms in butter about 5 minutes until tender. Using processor, process ham bits until very smooth, add thyme, mustard and tabasco.

2. In a medium bowl, blend mushrooms, ham, and cream cheese.

3. Pack into a pretty bowl, or crock, or shape into log. Refrigerate to mellow. Serve with crackers.
