Gumbo

Measure Ingredient
3 pounds Okra, cut up
1 clove Garlic, minced
1 can Tomato paste (small)
1 quart Water
2 pounds Shrimp, peeled
1 can Stewed tomatoes
\N \N Hot peppers to taste
\N \N Hot sauce to taste
1 medium Onion, chopped
1 each Bay leaf
2 tablespoons Flour
4 eaches Crabs

Combine okra, garlic, tomato paste, stewed tomatoes, onion , bay leaf, and water. Cook slowly until done. Brown flour, add enough water to make a roux. Add roux, shrimp, crabs, and season to taste.

Cook slowly until done.
