Green tomato mincemeat - cape breton

Yield: 4 12-oz jars

Measure Ingredient
6 cups Green tomatoes; chopped
6 cups Apples; choppped
2 cups Suet; chopped
1 cup Vinegar
½ cup Water
4 cups Brown sugar
1 \N Orange; chopped
1 tablespoon Cinnamon
1 tablespoon Cloves
1 tablespoon Allspice
1 tablespoon Mace
2 pounds Raisins; chopped

Combine all ingredients in saucepan and cook slowly for 2½ - 3 hours
