Vegetarian mincemeat

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 pounds Fresh ripe pears, chopped
1 each Lemon rind, grated
1 each Orange rind, grated
1 pounds Mixed dried fruit
4 ounces Candied peel
4 ounces Glace cherries
4 ounces Dates, chopped
2 ounces Flaked almonds
1 teaspoon Allspice
½ teaspoon Nutmeg
½ teaspoon Powdered ginger
4 tablespoons Whisky or other liquid

Mix all the ingredients together & let stand for 1 to 2 hours. Store in air-tight jars. Use as regular mincemeat.
