Fassoulia (beef and green bean stew)

cup Tomato juice
½ cup Water
1 pounds Stewing beef -- cut in

3 tablespoons Chopped fresh parsley
20 Milliliters
3 tablespoons Butter
1 large Onion -- chopped coarsely
1 pounds Fresh green beans
Salt and pepper to taste
Garlic -- minced

Directions

bring the water and tomato juice to a boil. Add the beef, parsley and garlic. Cover and simmer for 2 hours. Do not brown the meat first.
