Choose firm, ripe tomatoes, e.g. mamma mia, romano, cherry or sweet bite. Cut small tomatoes into halves (lengthwise if egg-shaped and small) or large tomatoes into ½-inch slices. Arrange directly on turntable in a single layer, cut side up, making sure they don't touch each other. Set microwave on DEFROST and dry for approximately 25-45 minutes (the time varies according to ripeness and size) or until shrivelled and dry to touch.
