| Cake: | ||
| 1½ | cup | Flour |
| 1 | cup | Sugar |
| ⅓ | cup | Cocoa powder |
| ½ | teaspoon | Baking soda |
| ½ | teaspoon | Salt |
| 1 | cup | Unsweetened applesauce |
| ½ | cup | Vegetable oil |
| 2 | larges | Eggs |
Directions
Heat oven to 350. Prepare topping: Mix flour, sugar & cinnamon in bowl with a fork. Stir in oil then nuts & chips. Make cake: Put flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder & salt in ungreased 8" square baking dish. Stir with fork to mix well. Add applesauce, oil & eggs. Stir until well blended. Sprinkle topping evenly over batter.
Bake 35-40 minutes. Cool on rack.
