Yield: 1 Servings
|1 pounds||Fresh raw mushrooms; large|
|1 cup||Grated cheddar cheese|
|½ medium||Onion; minced|
|½ cup||Bread crumbs|
|Salt and pepper|
Wash and stem the mushrooms, put caps in glass baking dish with "holes" facing up. Brush with melted butter. Chop stems into small pieces and combine with minced onion, bread crumbs, cheese, parsley, leftover butter, and salt and pepper. Stuff mixture into caps and bake until cheese melts.
Serve as an appetizer or a side dish, especially good with steak and baked potatoes.
