|½ pounds||Ostrich Steak cut into small|
|½ pounds||Chicken livers|
|1 pounds||Bacon - lean|
|Sliced water chestnuts|
|¼ teaspoon||Garlic salt|
|1 teaspoon||Curry powder (or to taste)|
|3 tablespoons||Soy sauce|
Combine ostrich, liver, salt, curry powder and soy sauce in a bowl.
Marinade for at least 1 hour. To make the appetizers (bites) wrap a slice of bacon around one slice of water chestnut, one piece of Ostrich Meat and one piece of liver. Secure with a toothpick and place on a baking tray. Put them in a hot oven until bacon is crisp - about 15 minutes.
