Directions
My little girls love this stuff, and they use old cookie cutters and rolling pins made from a broom stick with it.
Cook all ingredients in 1½ quart saucepan over medium heat for 4 or 5 minutes, stirring vigorously, until mixture forms a ball. (I use a teflon pan, and a quick wipe with a paper towel makes it possible to start on another batch with a different color) Remove dough from saucepan and let stand on counter for 5 minutes. (It is hot!)
Knead dough about 30 seconds or until smooth and blended. Cool completely.
Store in airtight container in refrigerator.
One of the kids at our class had a forgotten birthday, so we took some graham crackers and filled them with icing, plus a couple with icing drops on top for the requisite candles. They loved it! Posted to EAT-L Digest 03 Feb 97 by "Maria A. Ladd" <decolores.studio@...> on Feb 3, 1997.
