Yield: 12 Servings
|½ pack||(11.5-oz) Nestle Toll House milk chocolate morsels|
|1 carton||(15-oz) Ricotta cheese|
|2 packs||(3-oz) cream cheese; softened|
|2 tablespoons||Sifted confectioners' sugar|
|2 tablespoons||Chopped citron|
|1 teaspoon||Vanilla extract|
|12 \N||Prepared 5-inch cannoli shells|
|⅓ cup||Finely chopped pistachio nuts|
Melt over hot (not boiling) water, Nestle Toll House milk chocolate morsels; stir until smooth. Remove from heat; cool to room temperature. In large bowl, beat ricotta cheese until smooth. Add cream cheese, confectioners' sugar, citron and vanilla extract; beat well. Blend in melted morsels. Spoon into cannoli shells. Dip ends in nuts. Chill until ready to serve. Makes 12 cannolis.
