Chinese-style chicken in lettuce cups - bon appetit

| 2 | tablespoons | Soy sauce |
| 2 | tablespoons | Fresh time juice |
| 2 | larges | Garlic cloves, chopped |
| 1 | large | Jalapeno chili, chopped |
| 1 | teaspoon | Sugar |
| 1 | teaspoon | Garlic chili sauce or hot pepper sauce (such as Tabasco) |
| 1 | tablespoon | Oriental sesame oil or vegetable oil |
| Boston lettuce leaves | ||
| Chopped green onions (opt.) | ||
| Roasted peanuts (opt.) | ||
Directions
Combine first 8 ingredients in medium bowl and stir to blend well.
(Can be prepared 1 day ahead. Cover and refrigerate.) Heat sesame oil in heavy medium skillet over high heat. Add chicken mix- ture and saute until chicken is just cooked through, breaking up clumps with back of spoon, about 4 minutes. Transfer chicken mixture to plattcr. Arrange lettuce around edges; serve, passing onions and peanuts, if desired.
