Chinese-style chicken in lettuce cups - bon appetit

2tablespoonsSoy sauce
2tablespoonsFresh time juice
2largesGarlic cloves, chopped
1largeJalapeno chili, chopped
1teaspoonSugar
1teaspoonGarlic chili sauce or hot pepper sauce (such as Tabasco)
1tablespoonOriental sesame oil or vegetable oil
Boston lettuce leaves
Chopped green onions (opt.)
Roasted peanuts (opt.)

Directions

Combine first 8 ingredients in medium bowl and stir to blend well.

(Can be prepared 1 day ahead. Cover and refrigerate.) Heat sesame oil in heavy medium skillet over high heat. Add chicken mix- ture and saute until chicken is just cooked through, breaking up clumps with back of spoon, about 4 minutes. Transfer chicken mixture to plattcr. Arrange lettuce around edges; serve, passing onions and peanuts, if desired.
