Catfish chowder

Ingredients

1poundsCatfish fillets, cut into chunks
2slicesBacon, chopped
1cupChopped onion
1canSliced potators, drained
1canCooking tomatoes, chopped
2cupsWater
1canCorn, drained
¼teaspoonTarragon
½teaspoonCelery salt
2teaspoonsParsley flakes
½teaspoonOregano
¼teaspoonSalt
Pepper to taste
1teaspoonSeafood seasoning
2teaspoonsThyme

Directions

In a large pot, fry bacon until crisp. Add onion and cook until tender. Add potatoes, tomatoes, and 2 cups water. Cover; simmer until potatoes are tender. Add corn and seasonings. Cook slowly and adjust seasonings, if necessary. Add yhe catfish 5 to 10 minutes before serving and simmer.

Serves four.
