Beef with black-eyed peas

Measure Ingredient
1 can Condensed bean with bacon soup
1 can (4 oz) diced green chiles
½ cup Water
1 teaspoon Garlic powder
1 teaspoon Paprika
1 pack (9 oz) frozen black-eyed peas; slightly thawed
2 Peeled and sliced carrots
1 Sliced onion
1½ pounds Boneless beef chuck roast; trimmed of fat
Salt and pepper to taste

Taken from the book "365 Easy One Dish Meals" *CROCKPOT RECIPES* In a crockpot, combine soup, green chiles, water, garlic powder, paprika, black-eyed peas, carrots, and onion. Mix to blend well. Place roast down into mixture, covering top with some of it. Cover and cook on LOW setting for 10 hours. Stir in salt and pepper to taste.
