2 tablespoons | Vegetable oil, divided |
¾ pounds | Boneless beef sirloin or top round steak, 3/4 inch thick, sliced across the grain into thin strips |
2 cups | Broccoli flowerets |
1 \N | Medium onion cut into wedges |
1 \N | Clove garlic -OR- |
\N \N | 1/8 ts garlic powder |
1 can | Cream of Broccoli Soup Campbell's (10 3/4 oz can) |
¼ cup | Water |
1 tablespoon | Soy sauce |
4 cups | Hot cooked rice |
1. In large skillet over medium-high heat, heat one tablespoon oil; cook beef until browned, stirring often. Remove.
2. Reduce heat to medium. In remaining oil cook broccoli and onion with garlic until tender-crisp. 3. Stir in soup, water and soy sauce. Heat to boiling.
4. Return beef to skillet. Heat through, stirring often.
5. Serve over rice.
