Bean & pistou soup

2 cups Chicken broth
2 cans White beans, 19 oz; rinsed & drained
2 tablespoons Pesto sauce
2 tablespoons Parmesan; grated
\N \N Pepper, black

YIELD: 4 SERVINGS

Put broth and beans in a saucepan over moderate heat and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and stir in the remaining ingredients.
