| ½ | cup | Black Molasses |
| ¼ | cup | Granulated Sugar |
| ¼ | cup | Lard Or Butter |
| ¼ | teaspoon | Salt |
| ¼ | teaspoon | Baking Soda |
| 2 | Eggs | |
| 1½ | quart | Hot Milk |
Directions
Mix ingredients thoroughly with half of the milk and bake in a very hot oven until mixture boils. Then stir in the remaining hot milk and bake in a well-greased stone crock at a low temperature for 5 to 7 hours. Makes ½ gallon.
