Zucchini pickles

Yield: 3 servings

Measure Ingredient
2 pounds Zucchini, thinly sliced
½ pounds Onions, thinly sliced
¼ cup Salt
2 cups Sugar
2 cups Cider vinegar
½ teaspoon Prepared mustard
2 teaspoons Mustard seed
1 teaspoon Celery seed
1 teaspoon Tumeric

Cover zucchini and onions with water and ¼ cup salt. Soak for 2 hours and drain. Bring remaining ingredients to a boil and pour drained vegetables. Let stand for 2 hours. Boil 5 minutes and jar.
