Venison and tomatoes

Yield: 4 servings

Measure Ingredient
3 slices Bacon; chopped
¾ pounds Venison; ground
½ cup Onion; chopped
1 teaspoon Chili powder
¾ teaspoon Salt
½ teaspoon Paprika
¼ teaspoon Pepper
1 each 14.5 oz can stewed tomatoes
\N \N Hot cooked rice

Fry bacon until crisp; add venison, onion, and seasonings. Cook over medium heat until meat is browned, stirring to crumble. Add tomatoes; cover, reduce heat, and simmer 40 minutes. Serve over rice. Yield: 4 servings.
