Ingredients

1⅓cupMilk
1cupCornmeal
2smallsOnions, , chopped
poundsLean ground beef
cupBacon drippings, (or oil)
1can(12-oz) Whole kernel corn
2cans(8-oz) Tomato sauce
1can(3-1/4 oz) Ripe olives
1teaspoonSeasoned salt
1teaspoonSeasoned pepper
3tablespoonsChili powder, Gebhardts or Mexene
½teaspoonGarlic salt
Grated cheddar cheese

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 deg. F. Beat eggs, add milk and cornmeal, mix together and let stand while preparing the following mixture. Cook onions and ground beef in fat until onions are transparent and beef loses pink color. Add corn, tomato sauce, ripe olives and the seasonings. Mix well. Add to cornmeal mixture and pour into greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Top with cheese. Bake for

45 minutes.
