Southern black eyed peas w/rice and tomato

Ingredients

| 1 | can | (no. 300) black eyed peas |
| 1 | can | (no. 300) stewed tomatoes |
| 1½ | cup | Cooked white rice |
| 2 | tablespoons | Bacon drippings |
| 1 | teaspoon | Salt |
| ¼ | teaspoon | Pepper |
| 1 | medium | Onion; sliced |
Directions
Mix ingredients well and pour into baking dish. Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) for 30 minutes. Garnish with crisp bacon bits, if desired.
Serves 6.
