Shrewsbury cookies

Yield: 24 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1½ cup Cake flour
2 teaspoons Baking powder
⅛ teaspoon Salt
½ cup Butter; softened
½ cup Firmly packed brown sugar
⅔ cup Bass ale
⅔ cup Shredded sweetened coconut
⅓ cup Raisins
¼ cup Semisweet chocolate chips

From: arielle@... (Stephanie da Silva) Preheat oven to 350F. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Cream butter and sugar until light. Mix in dry ingredients alternately with ale.

Add coconut, raisins and chocolate chips.

Drop dough onto greased cookie sheets by tablespoons. Sprinkle sugar over cookies. Bake until edges are golden brown, about 10 minutes.
