2 cups | Ground beef |
3 cups | Meat broth |
2 teaspoons | Salt |
¼ teaspoon | Pepper |
1½ teaspoon | Sage |
1 \N | Single cayenne pepper to taste |
1 cup | Cornmeal |
Combine pork, beef, and broth in saucepan. Bring to a boil. Add seasonings.
Stir cornmeal into meat mixture, stirring constantly. Cook for 30 minutes.
Pour into loaf pan, chill until firm. Cut into thin slices and fry in lightly-greased skillet until browned.
