Yield: 6 Servings
Measure | Ingredient |
---|---|
4½ cup | Flour |
2 teaspoons | Baking soda |
2 teaspoons | Salt |
¾ cup | Sugar |
2¼ cup | Dark brown sugar (packed) |
4 \N | Eggs |
1 tablespoon | Vanilla |
2 cups | Butter, slightly softened (1 |
\N \N | Pound) |
1 cup | Chopped walnuts |
1 cup | Chopped pecans |
2 cups | Semi-sweet chocolate chips |
\N \N | (12 oz.) |
Preheat oven to 350F Combine flour, soda and salt. Set aisde. In a large bowl, cream sugars and butter very well. Add eggs and vanilla.
Beat well. Gradually add flour mixture and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips. Stir in the 2 cups of nuts. Mix well.
Drop by rounded teaspoonsfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 7-10 minutes. Cookies should look slightly UNDERDONE when you take them out. Let them rest a minute before removing them from the sheet onto a rack to cool. Note: you may want to add a bit of flour for the 2nd batch if the first batch you baked is a bit too thin or if they seem greasy. (This depends on the weather and the flour you use too.) Enjoy!
