Measure Ingredient
1 tablespoon Butter
½ teaspoon Chili powder
½ teaspoon Paprika
½ teaspoon Salt
½ teaspoon Black pepper
⅔ cup Converted rice
1⅓ cup Water

In a saucepan, melt butter, Add spices. Stir in rice and water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, simmer, covered for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes. Makes 2 cups.

Each ½ cup serving= 144 calories, 2 g protein, 3 g fat, 26 g carbs, 305 mg sodium, 8 mg chol.
