Memories of winnipeg creamy cheesecake

Measure Ingredient
¾ cup Graham wafer crumbs
⅓ cup Brown sugar
\N \N Grated peel of a lemon
2 pounds Cream cheese
4 \N Eggs
¾ cup Sugar
¼ teaspoon Ground cardamom
⅓ cup Butter, melted
\N \N Juice of 1/2 lemon
1 teaspoon Vanilla

CRUST

FILLING

1. Preheat oven to 350F(180C)

2. Mix crust ingredients together and press into a 10-inch springform pan. 3. In a large bowl combine the ingredients for the filling. Beat thoroughly and pour over the crust.

4. Bake 35 minutes. When baking is complete, turn off oven, prop oven door open with folded tea towel and let cake stand in oven for about 1 hour. Refrigetate several hours before serving.
