Marion's tea cakes

Ingredients

2Hen's Eggs (I used Medium)
2tablespoonsWhite Sugar
3cupsFlour (She means All-Purpose)
1cupSweet Milk (I recommend Whole, or even Half-and-Half)
1teaspoonSoda
2teaspoonsCream of Tartar
2tablespoonsMelted Butter (She called for \"A lump the size of a small hen's egg\")

Directions

Cream the eggs, and sugar. Slowly add the remaining ingredients in the order listed. She says bake them in a "Quickish" oven (That's about 400 degrees) for ½ an hour, until they are springy. Use a square or round baking tin, and serve them hot, with butter, topped with cinnamon-sugar.
