Manhattan fish chowder

Ingredients

1poundsFresh or frozen fish fillets
¼cupChopped bacon or salt pork
½cupChopped onion
1poundsCan tomatoes, chopped
1cupChopped potatoes
½cupChopped carrots
½cupChopped celery
¼cupCatsup
1tablespoonWorcestershire sauce
2tablespoonsChopped parsley

Directions

Fry bacon or salt pork till crisp. Remove all but 2 tb. fat. Saute onion till tender.

Add everything but fish. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes till vegies are done. Add fish and simmer covered for 10 more minutes.

Can also be done in the microwave.
