Low-fat turkey lasagna sauce

Ingredients

| 2 | tablespoons | Vegetable oil |
| 1 | Onion -- chopped | |
| 2 | Garlic cloves -- minced | |
| 3 | Tomatoes -- peeled and | |

| 6 | ounces | Tomato paste |
| 2 | tablespoons | Oregano -- chopped |
| 1 | tablespoon | Fresh basil -- chopped |
| 1 | cup | Red wine -- dry |
| Black pepper -- to taste | ||
Directions
1. Heat oil in heavy skillet with lid; saute onion and garlic for 4-5 minutes until limp. Add turkey and cook, breaking up meat, until no pink color remains. 2. Stir in remaining ingredients and simmer for 1 hour. Add a small amount of water if sauce appears to be getting too dry. 3. Let stand 15 minutes before serving over spaghetti.
