|Banana and orange compote|
|Brandy or orange liqueur; (optional)|
|Mascarpone cheese; (thinned with a|
|; little water to|
|; spread, if|
|Cocoa powder and mint leaves to decorate|
In a large glass bowl, layer the ingredients, starting with the brownies.
Sprinkle on some brandy (or other) if wanted. Spoon over the compote and juice. Loosen the Mascarpone with a little water and mix well. Spread it over the trifle, covering any gaps, with a spatula. Sift a little cocoa powder over the top, and decorate with fresh mint leaves.
