Kiffeletti (fried gnocchi horseshoes)

1 ounce Gnocchi dough
3 cups Vegetable oil for frying
Salt and pepper

Take 1 ounce of the gnocchi dough, roll with lightly floured hands into a 4-inch rope and then shape as a horseshoe. Fry in vegetable oil until golden brown, drain on paper towel. Salt and pepper and serve warm.
