Karl's mum basic pavlova

Measure Ingredient
4 \N Egg whites
1 cup Castor sugar
1 tablespoon Cornflour
1 teaspoon White vinegar

whip egg whites till they form soft peaks then continue to whip while slowly adding the castor sugar when all the sugar is added and the mixture is forming stiff peaks and is smooth and silky add the vinegar and the cornflour folding them through the meringue. Dust a greased Pizza tray with cornflour then spread the mixture evenly around the tray. Raise the edges slightly. bake in a slow oven for about 45 minutes or until the meringue is crisp and ever so slighlty browned. Cool on a wire rack. Fill with whipped cream and fresh fruit eg. passionfruit, kiwi fruit,strawberries, mango etc.
