1½ cup | Chopped onion |

2 cups | Tomato sauce |
1 teaspoon | Basil |
1½ cup | Water |
2 tablespoons | Chopped parsley |

1 teaspoon | Salt |
1 teaspoon | Oregano |
¼ teaspoon | Pepper |
1½ pounds | Italian sausage; browned |
1 pounds | Mozzarella cheese; cubed |
\N \N | Pizza dough (frozen bread dough) |
CANOLES
Saute onion and garlic in oil. Pour rest of ingredients in together. Add water; bring to a boil and simmer 2 hours.
Flatten out balls of thawed bread dough; fill with meat and cubed cheese.
Seal edges; bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Serve with Italian sauce.
