Holiday cherry mincemeat mold

Ingredients

QuantityIngredient
2cupsPitted dark sweet cherries
2smallsPackages of cherry gelatin
2cupsBoiling water
2tablespoonsLemon juice
½cupPrepared mincemeat
½cupDiced apple
½cupChopped nuts

Directions

Drain cherries and cut in half. Reserve syrup. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add enough water to reserved syrup to make 1¾ cups. Stir into gelatin and add lemon juice. Chill until partially set. Fold in mincemeat, apple and nuts. Pour into 6 ½ cup mold.
