Herman sourdough biscuits

Measure Ingredient

1 cup All purpose flour
1 teaspoon Baking powder
½ teaspoon Baking soda
1 cup Herman starter
5 tablespoons Oil or grease (lard; bacon
\N \N Fat; chicken fat)

Heat oven to 450 deg. Mix flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Add starter and oil. Knead 10 times on a floured surface. Pat to ¾" thickness. Cut in rounds, pkace on cookie sheet, and bake at 450 deg.

for 10 minutes. Makes 8 to 12 biscuits.
