Green beans with mushrooms and almonds

Ingredients

2packs(10-oz) French style green beans
2cans(4-oz) sliced mushrooms; drained
teaspoonPepper
½cupToasted; slivered almonds
½cupBoiling water
¼teaspoonSalt
2tablespoonsChopped parsley
¾teaspoonSalt
¼cupButter or margarine

Directions

Add beans to boiling, salted water; cook 15 minutes or until just tender.

Add remaining ingredients to beans. Stir gently until thoroughly mixed.

Keep warm over very low heat.
