½ teaspoon | Cream of tartar |
5 tablespoons | Butter |
1 cup | Heavy cream |
3 tablespoons | Brown sugar |
1 teaspoon | Cinnamon |
½ teaspoon | Maple extract |
CINNAMON OAT PANCAKE MIX
CINNAMON CREAM SYRUP
Combine pancake ingredients in a large bowl and blend well.Store in an airtight container in fridge til ready for giving. Give following recipe for pancakes: In a mixing bowl beat 2 eggs. Gradually beat in ⅓ cup of oil. Alternately beat in 2 cups of the pancake mix and 1 cup of water. Cook on lightly greased griddle. Yeild about 12 5" pancakes. The mix will make 4 batches of pancakes. For syrup: Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir in remaining ingredients, whisking constantly til sugar dissolves and mixture thickens slightly, 3-4 minutes. Place in pretty container, store in fridge till gift giving. Reheat to serve with pancakes.
This is nice in a basket with some linen napkins and a pancake turner.
