½cupButter
1cupHoney or sugar
1Eggs
To 2 cups
1teaspoonBaking soda
1teaspoonBaking powder
1teaspoonCloves
2teaspoonsCinnamon
½teaspoonAllspice
½teaspoonNutmeg
1teaspoonVanilla
½cupMilk
Chopped walnuts
Cake flour

Directions

Combine butter and sugar. Beat in eggs. Combine Glugg drained from fruit, milk and juice from stewed raisins to make one cup. In separate bowl combine flour, soda, baking powder and spices. Add Glugg mix and flour mix to butter, alternately in three parts. Add fruit, nuts and vanilla. Bake in greased and floured TUBE pan at 350 F. for about 50 minutes.
