Garlicky greens saute

Ingredients

6Cloves garlic; minced
1largeOnion; minced
1teaspoonOlive oil; original was 1 tbsp
¼cupSherry; optional, or white wine
¼teaspoonAllspice
¼teaspoonDried oregano
¼teaspoonDried basil
8cupsLeafy greens; cut into strips *
¼cupParmesan cheese; optional, I did not use this
Soy sauce; to taste, or salt
Black pepper

Directions

* spinach/chard/beet greens/kale, I used collard greens.

Saute the garlic and onion in the olive oil. Add the sherry and the spices.

Stir in the greens, and cook, turning occasionally until fully wilted, about 10 minutes.

Sprinkle on the parmesan cheese, if using.
