Garlicky greens saute

Yield: 4 servings

Measure Ingredient
6 \N Cloves garlic; minced
1 large Onion; minced
1 teaspoon Olive oil; original was 1 tbsp
¼ cup Sherry; optional, or white wine
¼ teaspoon Allspice
¼ teaspoon Dried oregano
¼ teaspoon Dried basil
8 cups Leafy greens; cut into strips *
¼ cup Parmesan cheese; optional, I did not use this
\N \N Soy sauce; to taste, or salt
\N \N Black pepper

* spinach/chard/beet greens/kale, I used collard greens.

Saute the garlic and onion in the olive oil. Add the sherry and the spices.

Stir in the greens, and cook, turning occasionally until fully wilted, about 10 minutes.

Sprinkle on the parmesan cheese, if using.
