|4 cups||Cut-up assorted vegetables|
|¾ cup||2% lowfat milk|
|1 pack||(1 ounce) white sauce mix|
|1 cup||(4 ounces) lowfat shredded cheese|
|1 can||(2.8 ounces) Durkee French Fried Onions|
Microwave Method: Place vegetables in 2-quart microwave-safe bowl.
Microwave, covered, on HIGH for 3 minutes. Add milk, white sauce mix, cheese and ½ can French Fried Onions. Microwave, covered, on HIGH for 8 minutes, or until sauce thickens, stirring once. Sprinkle with remaining onions. Microwave, uncovered, 1 minutes or until onions are golden.
Conventional Method: Prepare vegetables mixture as above. Bake, covered, at 350F for 40 minutes or until heated through, stirring once. Top with remaining onions; bake, uncovered, for 5 minutes or until golden. Posted to MM-Recipes Digest V4 #091 by Frances_M._Say@... on 97
