Yield: 8 Servings
|1 can||Evaporated milk; chilled|
|1 pack||Lemon jello|
|1 cup||Boiling water|
|1 \N||Lemon; juice and rind|
Have milk, bowl and beater very cold before beating. Do not beat milk until Jello starts to set.
Prepare the jello in the 1 cup boiling water. Whip milk into foamy heap, gradually add sugar. Then add jello, juice and rind.
Line oblong pan or a 8x8-inch aluminum pan with graham cracker crumbs. Pour mixture into pan and sprinkle with crumbs. Chill overnight.
Kids love this stuff. -- Pat Hanneman Note: the original recipe called for condensed milk or 1 cup of chilled coffee rich. If you can find unsweetened condensed milk - use it.
