Yield: 1 Servings
|1 cup||Long grain white rice; (uncooked)|
|1 cup||Diced onion|
|3 tablespoons||Canola or vegetable oil|
|cup||Pace Picante Sauce; ( thick and chunky)|
|1 pounds||Browned and drained ground beef|
In a large skillet heat the oil and add the rice and onion. Saute until rice is browned. To this mixture add the Pace Picante sauce and water.
Simmer 20 minutes or until liquid is absorbed. Add the ground beef and stir. You're ready to eat.
This can be made with or without the ground beef. Adding the beef makes it a complete meal. Serve with warm flour tortillas. Enjoy! Posted to brand-name-recipes by "J.C. Fox" <fox@...> on Feb 08, 1998
