Eve's apple conserve

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
4½ cup Finely chopped apples
¼ cup Water
½ cup Lemon juice
½ cup Seedles raisins
1 pack Powdered pectin
5½ cup Sugar
½ cup Chopped nuts

Here's a couple of conserve recipes (untried), that I found in a little Dell book my Mom had, dated 1975.

Sort and wash tart, red apples. Remove stems, core, chop apples fine, do not peel. Combine apples, water, lemon juice and raisins in dettle. Add pectin, stir well. Place on high heat, and bring to a full boil, stirring.

Add sugar; keep stirring and bring to a full boil again. boil for 1 minute, stirring. Remove from heat; add nuts. Ladel into hot jars and seal.
