Cheese stuffed shells

Measure Ingredient
\N 1 egg beaten

1 lb bulk Italian sausage

1 lg onion chopped

10 oz frozen spinach cooked

: and well drained

8 oz cream cheese softened

2 c shredded mozzarella

: cheese, divided

2 c shredded cheddar

: cheese

1 c cottage cheese

¼ c grated parmesan cheese

¼ ts salt and pepper

⅛ ts ground cinnamon

20 jumbo shell noodles

: cooked and drained

: marinara sauce

20 oz bottle Marinara sauce

¼ c white wine

½ ts dried basil

¼ ts minced garlic Basic marinara sauce of choice: add ¼ cup white wine, ½ tea of dried basil ¼ tea. minced garlic for richer flavor.

In skillet brown sausage crumbled and onion. Transfer to large bowl.

Add in spinach, cream cheese and egg. Add 1 cup mozzarella, cheddar and cottage cheese, along with parmesan. add seasonings. Mix well.

Stuff cooked shells, arrange in 13 x 9 in baking dish. Spoon sauce over shells. Reserve some sauce for serving. Cover and bake 40 minutes. Uncover sprinkle with remaining mozzarella for 5 - 8 minutes until cheese melts 8 Walt MM
