Bean curd with a spicy sauce

Yield: 2 servings

Measure Ingredient
2 teaspoons Cornstarch
½ cup Stock
1 teaspoon Chili paste with garlic
2 tablespoons Soy sauce
2 tablespoons Oil
3 \N Garlic cloves
1 teaspoon Fresh ginger
1 tablespoon Vegetable oil
\N \N Salt to taste
½ teaspoon Sugar
3 \N Scallions
1 pounds Bean curd cut into 1-inch cubes



Whisk together the sauce ingredients & set aside.

In a wok, saute garlic & ginger. Add scallions, followed by the tofu.

Cook for a few minutes. Pour suace over the sauted ingredients. Mix gently & simmer carefully. Let the sauce thicken, stirring gently every now & then.

Serve over rice.
