Winter ham soup w. blue cheese

Yield: 6 Servings

Measure Ingredient

¼ cup Butter
½ cup Onion; chopped
2 cups Potatoes;peeled & diced
¼ cup Water
¼ cup Flour
3 cups Milk
1 pack 10 oz. Frozen Peas
1½ cup Ham; chopped
¼ teaspoon Marjoram; dried
¼ teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Pepper; white
2 ounces Blue cheese; cumbled

In a large saucepan, melt the butter. Add the onions, potatoes, and water. Cover and cook over low heat until the potatoes are tender, about 20 mins. Stir in the flour and slowly add the milk. Cook until thickened. Stir in the peas, ham, marjoram, salt and pepper. Cook until the peas are tender. Garnish with blue cheese.
