Winter ham soup w. blue cheese

½cupOnion; chopped
2cupsPotatoes;peeled & diced
¼cupWater
¼cupFlour
3cupsMilk
1pack10 oz. Frozen Peas
cupHam; chopped
¼teaspoonMarjoram; dried
¼teaspoonSalt
¼teaspoonPepper; white
2ouncesBlue cheese; cumbled

Directions

In a large saucepan, melt the butter. Add the onions, potatoes, and water. Cover and cook over low heat until the potatoes are tender, about 20 mins. Stir in the flour and slowly add the milk. Cook until thickened. Stir in the peas, ham, marjoram, salt and pepper. Cook until the peas are tender. Garnish with blue cheese.
