Sesame swirls

Yield: 18 Servings

Measure Ingredient
2 cups Cooked bacon -- crumbled
½ cup Butter or margarine
2 cups Grated cheese
1 cup Sour cream
2½ cup All purpose flour
¼ cup Milk
1 tablespoon Baking powder
1 \N Egg -- slightly beaten
1 teaspoon Salt
⅓ cup Sesame seeds -- toasted

Preheat oven to 425 F. Stir together flour,baking powder, and salt. Add bacon, cheese, and chives. Cut in butter or margarine unti mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir sour cream and milk together. Add all at once to dry mixture. Stir just until dough clings together. Knead gently on well-floured surface (10-12 strokes). Roll dough into a 15x12 rectangle.

Brush with some of the egg. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Roll up jelly roll style, starting with long side. Cut into 18 slices using a piece of ordinary thread, place on greased baking sheet . Brush tops with remaining egg. Bake 15-18 minutes. Source:A-OK Cook Off 1991 Recipe By :
