| ¼ | teaspoon | Black pepper |
| 2 | tablespoons | Grated lemon rind |
| ⅔ | cup | Diced onion |
| 1 | Garlic clove ,sliced | |
| 1½ | cup | Dairy sour cream |
| 6 | ounces | Cooked noodles -or- |
| 4 | Potatoes cooked and cubed | |
Directions
from: The wonderful World of Cooking Brown meat in drippings Add seasonings, peel, onion and garlic. Pour sour cream over. Cover. Simmer(but do not boil ) for 3½ hours, basting occasionally. Add noodles or potatoes. Cover. Simmer for 20 minutes. serves 6-8
