Pasta with asparagus (2)

2 pounds Asparagus -- fresh slice 1

1 pounds Spaghetti -- very thin
8 slices Bacon -- cut 1 in. pieces
½ cup Green onion -- sliced
½ teaspoon Black pepper
¼ cup Butter or margarine --

½ cup Milk
½ cup Parmesan cheese -- grated or

Cooked asparagus in boiling salted water 3 min. Drain and set aside.

Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain and return to kettle to keep warm. Meanwhile, in a skillet, cook bacon until crisp.

Remove to a paper towed. In bacon drippings, saute onion until soft.

Add asparagus and pepper; heat through. Quicky toss together spaghetti, asparagus mixture, bacon, butter, milk and cheese. Serve immediately. Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
