North-of-the-border pozole

Measure Ingredient
4 \N Pork steaks
\N \N Salt and pepper
14½ ounce Can hominy; drained
1 small Onino; chopped
4 ounces Can diced green chili peppers, drained
1 teaspoon Chili powder

Trim fat off pork steaks; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Combine hominy with onion, chili peppers, and chili powder in bottom of slow-cooking pot.

Arrange pork steaks over hominy. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours.
