North-of-the-border pozole

| Salt and pepper | ||
| 14½ | ounce | Can hominy; drained |
| 1 | small | Onino; chopped |
| 4 | ounces | Can diced green chili peppers, drained |
| 1 | teaspoon | Chili powder |
Directions
Trim fat off pork steaks; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Combine hominy with onion, chili peppers, and chili powder in bottom of slow-cooking pot.
Arrange pork steaks over hominy. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours.
